Another huge thank you to all that helped run and organise the Club Championships at Larkhall on Sunday. As usual, we couldn’t run these meets without Timekeepers, Chief Timekeepers, Marshalls and Coaches. Special thanks to Mike again for setting up the Timing system and Angela for organizing.
This meet gives many of our newer swimmers their first competitive swimming experience but in a fun and friendly atmosphere. They certainly seemed to have a great time swimming and supporting their friends. The few spectators that came along should also be thanked for their support. They certainly contributed to the great atmosphere. Hopefully we’ll get more supporters along next year.
Well done also to those parents and coaches who swam. The kids seemed to like that race in particular. Congratulations to Stewart Ferguson on an impressive win.
The medals from the entire Championships programme will be presented at the Awards Night at the Cambuslang Institute on Saturday 21st January. Tickets will be available soon.
