A useful webpage to add to your favourites – shows meet info beforehand and results for most meets in Scotland (except Mini League) – for instance both last weekends meets are shown. Results can sometimes go up on same day as the event, so if you’re extra keen…
Also…
For Clyde Coast info
(although it can be a day or two (or three) before the results are posted here!)
and for your iPhone there’s Meet Mobile, which shows live results as they happen…
Only one or two events appearing on this at the moment (eg Cumbernauld meets and Scottish National Age Groups) but I expect there’ll be more as time goes on. Interesting looking at all the other meets from around the world though!

Comments Off Sheffield Bag Packing
April 30th, 2012
Posted in General News
A big thanks to everyone who helped with the bag packing on Saturday at Tesco. A magnificent £755 was raised towards the cost of the trip to Sheffield. Special thanks to all three Biggam girls who gave up their time to help despite not being able to go to Sheffield this year.
There is a list on the club noticeboard for another bag packing session, this time at Morrisons, in July. Proceeds from this one will go towards the club’s general fundraising account.

|
12th May |
Butterfly |
|
26th May |
Backstroke |
|
16th June |

23rd June |
Front Crawl |
These are available to anyone for all squads Bronze upwards, but I would expect swimmers from, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Rascals and West Squad particularly. The cost will be £20. I will take the first 20 swimmers. I may take some further swimmers on a one off basis at £7 for those who cannot attend all, or have a particular problem with one stroke we need to try and correct or adapt. The sessions will start at 14.00 and we will look at your videos taken at Stirling and other examples of good swimming. Those of you who have been videoed at Stirling can work on some of the faults identified.
I will try and take these sessions myself but they may be taken by other Rutherglen Coaches or an outside Coach.

Any swimmer who has swam at any of the Clyde Coast series this year is asked to go to Denny high school this Saturday 15.00-17.00. That is anyone who swam in a Scoring lane, Spare lane or relay. There is no charge for this one.
I have arranged some more dates too, another notice will follow, although the invitation will be to different groups on different days.
