The 1500 Challenge will take place on Tuesday night from 6:00pm. There won’t be any training that night as the challenge will take up most of the evening.
Swimmers will compete in pre-allocated 1/2 hour slots, two to a lane. Once their time slot finishes they should leave the pool (even if they haven’t completed the 1500m) to allow the next swimmers in.
There will be a holding area for swimmers waiting to take part in the pool’s cafe.
There will also be a registration desk for swimmers to sign in – only those already entered through the online fom and on the sign-in list will be allowed to take part.
Could all officials who are available please come along to Lifestyles and assist with timekeeping. Timesheets will be provided poolside and swimmers’ split times are to be recorded.
If anyone would also like to help with marshalling or looking after swimmers whilst they wait, please let us know

Reluctantly I have had to postpone the Yoga taster session this Saturday 25th October 2014 at Trinity High.
This will also mean a delay in introducing the programme particularly as we are now heading into an extremely busy period before Christmas.
I will try and rearrange this as soon as possible for a later date.
Calum Gowran’s Physics assignment and diary has been lifted inadvertently from the cafe area on Tuesday night. He was doing homework and some of the younger swimmers were around. If you were in the area can you please check you haven’t lifted.
Two very good performances were recorded by Ross Leslie at Sheffield Ponds Forge last Sunday. Representing Scotland West against 19 other “Counties” Ross came 9th in the 16/17 100m SC Butterfly in a West District Short Course Record and PB. A fine anchor leg in the 6×50 Mixed Freestyle Relay in an impressive 23.64 brought the team in 11 ahead of Scotland East.
